Weather conditions will be windy and cold as a cold front passed through North Texas this evening. Expect north winds of 25 to 30 MPH with wind gusts as high as 40 MPH. The strong winds combined with the cold will result in wind chill values in the teens and twenties. Temperatures may fall to or below 32 degrees in some locations by Saturday morning.
Sudden changes in the weather and cold air can trigger asthma. Pollen counts can surge during windy days as pollen spreads. Be alert if you plan to be outdoors this evening or tomorrow morning.
